Just a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh, this former coaching inn is set in Kinross, in the historic heart of Central Scotland, with easy access to the M90 motorway.
Now a first class hotel and golf course, ideal for both business and leisure, the Green Hotel features 46 modern, spacious bedrooms, each one well appointed and overlooking the hotel's extensive gardens and beautiful courtyard.
For moments of relaxation, the Green Hotel offers extensive leisure facilities. On-site you can find an indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, toning tables, solarium and extensive gymnasium with cardio-vascular and free weights area. There are also two 18-hole golf courses with special rates and preferred tee times for residents.
The hotel has been awarded 4-star from the AA and Visit Scotland.

Please note that the leisure club will close on 30th September 2008. Guests can use the extensive facilities of Gravity Health & Leisure Club, located in the Green Hotel's sister hotel, The Windlestrae, just across the road.
Room facilities include satellite television, radio, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, tea and coffee making equipment and 24 hour room service. Most rooms have views over the hotels extensive gardens or the quiet, secluded courtyard and fountain.
Basil's Restaurant is an elegant setting in which to enjoy our varied menus that feature a subtle blend of continental and traditional Scottish dishes. Open nightly until 9:30pm. Our well stocked cellar carries an impressive selection of old and new world wines. The courtyard cocktail bar, adjacent to the restaurant, is the ideal venue for pre-dinner drinks.
The Defiance Bar serves bar meals and snacks in a warm and friendly atmosphere all day, every day.
Jocks Bar takes its name from the name given to soldiers in the Black Watch and other Scottish regiments in the British Army. The Black Watch was perhaps one of the most famous and recruited from the local area. In addition to providing a broad selection of beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks, the bar offers a wide range of freshly cooked hot dishes, salads and puddings in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Exit junction 6 of the m90 (25 minutes North of Edinburgh) and follow signs to Kinross. Turn left and the hotel is 450 yards on the left.
